Electrica Furnizare installs 1,840 photovoltaic panels for the furniture factory Lemet

Electrica Furnizare announced on Monday that they start the construction project of an electrical photovoltaic power station for the furniture factory Lemet, the developer of the Lems chain stores, with installed power of 975.2 kWp and an average annual production of electricity estimated at 1,082 Mwh. The project started in Prahova county means the installation of photovoltaic modules, each with power of 530 Wp, on slanting roofs of three of the workhouses belonging to the furniture factory Lemet Campina, company which has turned 30 since setting up.   At present, the project is under development, to be finalised at the beginning of 2022. With experience of over 120 years in the domain of energy, Electrica Furnizare entered in 2020 the market of electricity production from renewable sources, by the acquisition of the Stanesti Photovoltaic Park, Giurgiu county with a capacity of 7.5 MWp.   At present, the company is developing a series of projects which involve delivery of personalized solutions, turnkey solutions for the production of green energy, joining the strategy of the Group Electrica which aims at contributing in the sustainable development of the business, in the context of the European Green Pact.   Lemet Campina was set up in 1991 and this year they celebrate 30 years. Starting with 2005, the company localized in Brebu, Campina has developed the chain store Lems as brand of the furniture factory. The Lems retailer is the most extended chain of furniture stores in Romania. The factory Lemet produces annually approximately 150,000 furniture kits.
