Most Romanians consider they have a good state of mind; parents and young pros most satisfied

February 10, 2022

Most Romanians declare satisfied of their state of mind, the most important category being that of parents (70%) and of young professionals (61%), according to data of a specialized study released on Tuesday.   According to Reveal Marketing Research, at the opposite pole we find people aged over 55 who declare dissatisfied of their state of mind (13% of people interviewed). At the end of 2021, 7 out of 10 Romanians declared satisfied and very satisfied of their relations with people close to them (family, friends or partners) and 5% were dissatisfied with these connections.   In the socio-demographic categories, the appreciation of couples' relationships and those with the family register significant differences only according to children and incomes. People aged between 35 and 44 seem to be more satisfied of relations with family and friends (80%), compared to young people aged between 24 and 34 years (62%).   Professional activity and the balance between the personal and professional life are some of the main reasons of satisfaction for over 50% of people living in Romania. According to Romanians Today Barometer, in 2021 satisfaction toward relations with partners, although positive, had a lower level on the background of the Romanians' not very good state of mind, but as of February 2021, it recorded a constantly high level, the summit being reached with 65% by the end of the year.   The highest satisfaction degree toward the relations with one's partner is found with parents (72%) and with persons aged between 24 and 34 years (79%). The report also shows that 70% of respondents wish 2022 to be a better year from the financial point of view while over half (52%) declared they have in view the improvement of health.   Other plans found on the Romanians' list this year are spending free time (49%), physical state (47%), as well as couples' relations.   The study was made online between December 6 and December 12, 2021, among Romanian citizens from the rural and urban areas, on an overall sample of 1,009 adults aged between 18 and 55 years.   Reveal Marketing Research is a full service market research company, specialized in marketing research, sociological studies, customer insight, business strategy and market development.
