Unirea Medical Center can take over Life Line Medical Center

February 17, 2022

The Competition Council announced on Monday that it authorized the transaction by which Unirea Medical Center, the operator of the private health network Regina Maria takes over Life Line Medical Center.   Unirea Medical Center is the operator of the private health network Regina Maria, offering a wide range of clinical and paraclinical services, medical imagery services and lab tests.   Life Line Medical Center operates Columna Medical Center, a medical unit specialized in infertility diagnosis and treatment.   The Competition Council decided this operation does not represent significant obstacles for competition in the Romanian market and there are no serious doubts about its compatibility with a normal competition environment.
