RE/MAX Romania, over 90% business increase in 2021

 RE/MAX Romania has brokered last year approximately 10,000 real estate transactions, which summed up over 300 million Euro, and for 2022 it is targeting a 15 million turnover, according to a press release sent by the company."RE/MAX Romania, part of the real-estate world leader and number 1 global franchise on this segment, has seen an increase of generated commissions by approximately 92% in 2021, comparing to the previous year, reaching a total value of 10.5 million Euro. The company has brokered in the same interval approximately 10,000 real-estate transactions, which summed up over 300 million Euro, and for the current year it is targeting a turnover of 15 million Euro, namely an accelerated increase of number of franchises and agents", the press release reads.The most brokered transactions were for the residential segment, with a percentage of 83%, followed by plots of land (9%), commercial (4%), office (2%) and industrial (2%), and the top cities from the standpoint of volume of transactions remains unchanged, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Brasov, respectively."The year 2021 was a surprisingly good year for RE/MAX business in Romania, with growths that surpassed our expectations. If 2020 was a year of reorganization and adapting to the pandemic context, 2021 was one of consolidation and evolution. We can say that investments in digitization, education and top services offered, along with a favorable context regarding the real estate market, have led to the obtained results. We are continuing to rely on considerable increases at the level of all business indicators," Razvan Cuc, chairman of RE/MAX Romania, said.In Romania, RE/MAX is the largest network of franchised real estate offices, with the highest number of real estate agents, currently having over 60 franchises and over 750 members.
