Almost 320,000 Ukrainians have entered Romania since the beginning of the crisis

A number of 319,969 Ukrainian citizens have entered Romania since the outbreak of the crisis in their country until Tuesday, at 24 :00, informed the General Inspectorate of Border Police.According to a press release sent on Wednesday, 234,369 Ukrainian citizens left Romania already.   On Tuesday, in an interval of 24 hours, at national level, through the border checkpoints entered Romania 74,709 people, out of whom 28,888 Ukrainian citizens (fewer by 2.5 % against the previous day).At the border checkpoints with Ukraine there came 10,601 Ukrainian citizens (slightly fewer by 1.5%) and at the border checkpoints with the Republic of Moldova, 16,465 (dropping by 3.5%).   On the going out from Romania direction there were formalities made for 87,666 people, out of whom 25,506 Ukrainian citizens (dropping by 3.9%).   The number of refugees fleeing Ukraine is expected to reach 1.5 million on Sunday, while the attack of Russia on this country is going on, in the 11th day of the invasion. At the same time, Ukraine insists on getting new help from the western countries, among which more sanctions against Russia and weapons for Kyiv.
