BestJobs: Companies activate 1,800 'Ukrainian-friendly' jobs in past two weeks

April 20, 2022

Companies have activated approximately 600 ads for Ukrainian citizens, totalling 1,800 jobs, in just two weeks, since the BestJobs recruiting platform introduced the special tag "Ukrainian friendly UA" by which employers can highlight the jobs appropriate for them, according to a press release sent on Monday. Most jobs are in telecommunications (18%), technical & engineering (23%), sales (8%), accounting (8%) and HoReCa (6%).Thus, BestJobs is expanding its support for Ukrainian jobseekers, encouraging employers to open Ukrainian friendly positions by offering free ads on the specially-created page.According to the quoted source, BestJobs has identified the needs of refugees in having electronic equipment in order to work or keep in touch with family, reason for which it invites partner companies to donate mobile phones, tablets, laptops and other functional equipment that will reach Ukrainian citizens in need. For this initiative, BestJobs is in contact with the local NGOs involved in the process to help the victims of the conflict in Ukraine, which can logistically support the storage and distribution of donations, in order to come to the aid of Ukrainian refugees.
