Husqvarna estimates a turnover of 25.5 million euro in Romania this year

The local subsidiary of the Swedish producer of equipment for maintaining green spaces – Husqvarna – reported business worth 24 million euro in 2021, up by 13% against 2020. Until the end of the year, the company estimates business of 25.5 million euro in Romania and prepares investments of almost 2 million euro by opening three new shops.  ‘It is about investments of almost 1.8 million euro’ the company announced.   The market for green space maintenance equipment is very dynamic and oriented to new technologies, say the representatives of the company.   Husqvarna invested at group level only in 2020 approximately 166 million euro in research and development. The allocated sum especially for the development of digital services and automated products with batteries.   At present, the company is in full process of development of this technology which they have already supplied in the professional products through the EPOS solution ( exact position operating system). Thus, the future grass mower will be able to do more than to maintain the lawn in excellent state.   Set up in 1689, Husqvarna, part of the Swedish group with the same name, produces a large variety of equipment and accessories for forests, parks, gardens and constructions from chainsaws and disc-cutting machines, up to robotic lawnmowers for lawnmowers. The company has been a world leader in the domain of robotic lawnmowers since 1995, with over 2,000,000 units sold in the world.
