The International Furniture Fair BIFE-SIM to take place in September at Romexpo

The 31st edition of the International Furniture Fair, equipment and accessories BIFE – SIM will take place between 22- 25 September at Romexpo.In this context, the minister of entrepreneurship and tourism, Constantin-Daniel Cadariu met on Wednesday with Mihai Daraban, the chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, Ionel Gagu, chairman of the Board Romexpo and chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Buzau, the leadership of the Association of the Furniture Producers, producers of furniture and specialists in the ministry of entrepreurship and tourism (MAT).According to a MAT press release, minister Cadariu presented the programmes developed at the level of the institution for the support of Romanian export, showing that, even the organisation of international fairs in Romania with participation of foreign guests (companies, officials) represents an instrument for the promotion of the Romanian export.‘BIFE-SIM is Romania’s fair which gathers the most important furniture and equipment producers for wood manufacturing and, at the same time, an extraordinary occasion for the industry to make their offer known, after two years of pandemics and especially in the context of the crisis in Ukraine. It is necessary to unite our forces so that this exhibition be a real success. That is why we have gathered at this table, all decision makers who can put to value this objective. From the perspective of the minister, we commit to actively promote the event on the targeted foreign markets through economic advisors and we want to identify a viable solution, so that we encourage and support the participation of the Romanian producers’ the minister of entrepreneurship and tourism said.A special attention was granted, similarly, to aspects connected to the visibility of the event, namely to drawing a higher number of visitors to the fair, objective which can contribute to the measures for the stimulation of the national consumption of Romanian furniture.
