Altur Slatina suspens its activity temoporarily, starting with 18th April due to the conflict in Ukraine

The Altur Slatina suspends its activity temporarily, between 18 April and 1 May due to the evolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.   According to a press release sent on Friday to the Stock Exchange Bucharest for a large part of the employees the individual work contracts will be suspended.    ‘The measures are taken with the general situation of armed conflict in Ukraine in mind, which led to the interruption of the economic activity in Urkraine as well as the institution by the international community agaist the Russian Federation and Belarus of economic sanctions, of financial restrictions and restrictions regarding the economic relations. Due to the evolution of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Altur SA had a drop in the volume of the production activity due to the lack of orders coming from foreign clients (ZF Braking Systems Poland Sp. Z o.o., ZF Automotive Czech s.r.o) which reduced their production activity, by cancelling the acquisition orders’ the quoted press release says.Altur S.A. is a public limited company whose object is the manufacture of aluminum alloy castings and car pistons for motor vehicles, tractors, trucks, manufacture of aluminum castings for the electrical engineering industry.
