Minister visibility barometer: Premier Ciuca ranks first in top

Premier Nicolae Ciuca ranks first in point of visibility in the month of May. He was followed by education minister Sorin Campeanu and energy minister Virgil Popescu, both of them having a spectacular advance compared to the previous month.   In exchange, health minister Alexandru Rafila, who ranked second in top, goes down to the 11th position, accord9ing to the Barometer of ministers' visibility, an analysis made by News.ro and Klarmedia monitoring agency, based on the monitoring of the written and online press.   Transport minister Sorin Grindeanu ranks 4th with 3,655 mentioning in the written and online press, the same position as in April.   The next minister in the top is defense minister Vasile Dincu, who also keeps the same position as in the previous month. His visibility was marked by statements referring to the situation of the defense industry and those about the Ukraine war.   Foreign minister Bogdan Aurescu ranks 6th, after being 3rd in April, the significant presence in the written and online press being given by the announcement about the Romanian Embassy in Kiev resuming activity and the participation in the meeting of NATO foreign ministers.   Marcel Bolos, the minister of European Projects climbs to 7th position, a change due to his presence in the written and online press following his nomination in the position, the PNRR renegotiation and reorganization of the ministry he is head of.   Interior minister Lucian Bode goes down to 8th from 6th position. Although he has the same number of mentions as in April, labor minister Marius Budai goes down to 9th from 5th position.   Environment minister Tanczos Barna, goes down one position, the 10th, and health minister Alexandru Rafila goes down from second position in April to 11th in May, while the 12th position belongs to agriculture minister Adrian Chesnoiu.   The last positions are held by culture minister Lucian Romascanu, digitization minister Sebastian Burduja, justice minister Catalin Predoiu and the minister of tourism Daniel Cadariu.
