The IT industry is affected by one of the biggest personnel fluctuations in history. Approximately 40% of the employees in the IT industry in Romania have changed their workplace in 2022, as a result of the deficit in IT specialists, at a moment when there is high demand for workforce and through the perspective of the easier access to the offers of the companies from abroad, as the possibility for remote work has increased, according to the analysis of TARA Interactive, a Romanian company for software development. According to the National Institute for Statistics (INS), this September the number of employees in this sector was 137,500 with 44% higher than in September 2019. 'In two years of pandemics, there was a drifting away of the people, and as we get used to the new normality, we need validation, both professionally and personally, belonging to a group of people, to a company, to its values, we want to feel that our work is important and that we change for the better other people and the society we live in' said Vlad Lepadatu, managing partner wih TARA Interactive.
