US Ambassador to Bucharest, Kathleen Kavalec stated on Monday, in Oradea that Romania will join the visa waiver programme in early 2025. ‘It is my purpose in this mandate. It cannot be before 2025 as we have to measure annually the rejection rate from the 1st October to the 1st October. If everything goes well, probably, at the beginning of 2025. We hope. It is not guaranteed.
