US Ambassador: Romania to join Visa Waiver Program in early 2025

US Ambassador to Bucharest, Kathleen Kavalec stated on Monday, in Oradea that Romania will join the visa waiver programme in early 2025.    ‘It is my purpose in this mandate. It cannot be before 2025 as we have to measure annually the rejection rate from the 1st October to the 1st October. If everything goes well, probably, at the beginning of 2025. We hope. It is not guaranteed. It depends on many things that might happen, but I think that we are on the right way’ stated the US Ambassador.She was in Oradea on Monday to open the travelling exhibition ‘We the People’ which celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Strategic Partnership between the United States of America and Romania.
