SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE S.A. completed the merger of SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI DE VIATA S.A.

SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE S.A. announces the completion of the merger by absorption of the company SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI DE VIATA S.A. The Financial Supervisory Authority (ASF) published the decision.   After going through all the stages of the complex takeover process, the portfolio of products and services was transferred and integrated under the SIGNAL IDUNA brand.   In addition, the insurance policies contracts signed with SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI DE VIATA S.A. have been taken over by SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE S.A. as an insurer. Similar standards of quality and professionalism will continue to be followed during the insurance contract unrolling.   Last year, SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARE REASIGURARE S.A. received the approval of the ASF and the Competition Council for the purchase and later for the completion of the transaction of the ERGO AsigurAri, which changed its name to SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI S.A., and ERGO AsigurAri de VIATA, named SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI DE VIATA S.A.   SIGNAL IDUNA ASIGURARI S.A. remains an independent entity that continues its activity in the Romanian insurance market.   SIGNAL IDUNA thus expands its operations on the local market with a range of varied solutions, responding to the changing expectations of Romanians through efficient and affordable products and services.
