One billion lei active stock of Hunedoara Energy Complex transferred to Energy Ministry

Expert Insolventa SRL, as judiciary administrator of Hunedoara Energy Complex Company is in insolvency procedure, transferred shares to the Energy Ministry by completing the mechanism mentioned by Emergency Order 60/2019, the company informs in a press release.   This transfer and the sale of Mintia Thermopower Central of December 2022, represent the biggest restructuring of a company of straegic importance made in Romania, with the continuation of activity and ensuring most jobs.   The transfer value is over 1 billion lei, reported to the market value established in insolvency procedure.   According to Emil Gros, coordinating associate of Insolvency Expert SPRL, once the procedure provided by OUG 60/2019, the transfer of all functional energy and mining shares which serve the activity of Paroseni Power Plant and of subsidiaries Onea, Livezeni, Vulcan, Lupeni and Prestserv is ensured. At the same time, the present staff is transferred ti the new company Valea Jiului Energy Complex, ensuring electric energy supply, as well as the continuation of activity within the National Electroenergy System.   Thus the activity of SCEH stops without socio-social impact and its entering banckruptcy will be decided in court.
