Energy Minister: By the end of this year we should have a law for offshore wind energy

Romania should have a law for offshore wind energy by the end of this year, believes the minister of energy, Sebastian Burduja, who took part on Friday in Berlin, in a meeting with the business environment, organised by the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.    'Offshore wind. Germany is a leader. Now we are finalising the legislation in Romania as well. I think that next week we will present it to the approval of the government and later the draft will go to parliament. By the end of this year we should have a law  for offshore wind energy and the potential this one from the Black Sea' , said Sebastian Burduja, according to the press release of the ministry of energy.   The meeting organised  by the Romanian-German Chamber of Commercee and Industry was attended by representatives of the energy sector both from Romania and Germany, as well as from the Republic of Moldova.   According to the ministry of energy, the main topics under discussion during the event were sustainable and affordable energy, circular economy and food supply.
