Bulgaria, seventh trading partner of Romania, in July, with trade volume of 5.4 billion euros

 Bulgaria was Romania's seventh trading partner at the end of July, after Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Poland and Turkey, with a trade volume of 5.4 billion euros, informs the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Municipality of Bucharest (CCIB)."At the end of July 2023, Bulgaria was the 7th trading partner of Romania (after Germany, Italy, Hungary, France, Poland and Turkey) with a trade volume of 5.4 billion euros, with a reduction of 13, 5% compared to the similar period in 2022. In terms of exports, Bulgaria was the 5th destination market with a volume of 2.2 billion euros (+8.3%) and a share of 4% of total exports, and in terms of import the 7th market of origin of the goods that entered our country, with a volume of 3.2 billion euros (-24%) and a share of 4.5% in the Romanian import," the press release informs.According to a press release sent on Friday, the president of the CCIB, Iuliu Stocklosa, received, at the CCIB Palace, Victor Gugushev, the new president of the Board of Directors of the Bulgaria - Romania Chamber of Commerce in Ruse (BRCCI), Senior Partner at "Gugushev & Partners Law Office," accompanied by Stefan Kyosev, Business Development Director at the "Gugushev & Partners" Law Office, and Adrian SipoS, Business Development Manager at BRCCI."Bulgaria is a very important economic and commercial partner of Romania. At the end of July this year, according to the latest statistical data available from the Romanian side, Bulgaria was the 5th destination country for Romanian goods with a share of 4% in our country's exports and the 7th country of origin for products entering our customs territory, accumulating 4.5% of Romania's import. Added to this are the values resulting from mutual trade in services, such as transport, tourism and those in the IT field," declared Iuliu Stocklosa.
