Phone call between president Iohannis and Israeli counterpart Herzog

President Klaus Iohannis on Friday had a phone conversation with Israeli president Isaac Herzog, the Presidential Administration informs.During the conversation, president Klaus Iohannis once again condemned the unacceptable terrorist attacks against Israel and expressed regret that these violent acts resulted in numerous victims among innocent civilians.The two presidents also expressed deep regret for the fact that among those who lost their lives are two Romanian citizens, according to the Presidential Administration."The president of Romania assured the president of the State of Israel that our country is ready to provide emergency assistance at any time, if necessary. Also, president Klaus Iohannis thanked president Isaac Herzog for the support offered by the Israeli authorities to Romanian citizens, especially regarding the repatriation, so far, in safe conditions of the 2,162 Romanian citizens," the source informs.Moreover, president Klaus Iohannis told his counterpart that "Romania continues to rely on Israel's valuable support in terms of assistance to Romanian citizens in these very difficult times, not only for the Middle East, but for the entire world."
