Supplementing the budgets of some ministries and increasing the limits of commitment appropriations, approved by the Government

The government approved, on Friday, supplementing the budgets of some ministries and increasing the limits of commitment appropriations.According to the government, the budget of the ministry of work and social solidarity increases its limits of commitment appropriations for October with the sum of 393,000 lei, with a view to completing the works and the services contract of the administrative headquarters of the County Pension House Braila, built between 1935 and 1937.Another sum of 3,014 million lei increases the limit of commitment appropriations for October of the same ministry of work, the sum being necessary for the acquisition of software and hardware equipment for the proper functioning of the ministry.   The same ministry is also redistributing, within the budget of the National Public Pension House (CNPP), the amount of 2.9 million lei, which is necessary to finance the expenses for the transfer of pension rights to beneficiaries and for the operation of the CNPP and county pension houses. The Public Ministry receives an additional allocation of 15.7 million lei, commitment appropriations and budget appropriations, for the commitment and payment of outstanding payments for the payment of public legal aid, as well as the financing of expenditure of this nature until the end of 2023.   The Public Ministry also receives the sum of three million lei, sum representing commitment credits destined to the closing of contracts and acquisition orders by the prosecutorial units in Bucharest and in the country and by DNA.The budget of the ministry of foreign affairs gets a supplement of 6.5 million lei, necessary to pay the voluntary financial contribution of Romania, worth 1.3 million euro, assumed by Romania during the International Conference of donors in support of the populations of Turkey and Syria, affected by the earthquake of 6th February 2023.Similarly, the government approved the supplement of the ministry of transport and infrastructure ministry with the sum of 447 million lie budgetary credits and 447 million lei commitment credits for the financing of the projects in the domain of transport carried out by the beneficiaries of the Large-Scale Infrastructure Operational Programme, as well as with the amount of 53 million lei in budgetary appropriations and 53 million lei in commitment appropriations to ensure the necessary financing from the state budget of projects financed under the Connecting Europe Facility.The budget of the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests for the year 2023 is supplemented by the amount of 45 million lei, representing commitment appropriations and budget appropriations, from the Budget Reserve Fund available to the Government. The Government also approved the supplement of the budget of the Foreign Intelligence Service for 2023, with the amount of 400,000 lei, from the budgetary reserve fund available to the Government, provided for in the state budget for 2023. At the same time, the Executive also approved the supplement to the budget of the Protection and Security Service for 2023, with the amount of 30 million lei, from the Budget Reserve Fund available to the Government.   The ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development was allocated the sum of 1.569 million lei, which represents budget appropriations and it will be used for the payment of the payment of the tax invoices for services rendered and products delivered and received, due in October, the press release added.
