Military exercises to be carried out in shooting range in Sfantu Gheorghe, Covasna county

   The servicemen belonging to the ground forces will carry out military exercises this week in the shooting range in Sfantu Gheorghe, central Covasna county, announced the leadership of the 22nd Mountain Troops Battalion Ciresoaia.According to the source, the exercises will start on Monday and will use maneuver ammunition."Between 20-24 November 2023, structures with the Ground Forces will conduct tactical field exercises with troops and technique. The activities will take place in training facilities near Sfantu Gheorghe. During the activities, the soldiers will use maneuver ammunition. During this period, the technical means planned to participate in the execution of training will transit Suceava, Harghita and Covasna counties," a press release said.The announcement was also posted on the Facebook page of the Sfantu Gheorghe City Hall, urging citizens not to panic.Several training exercises took place in Covasna county both last year and this year, with the participation of ground and air troops from military structures of the Ministry of National Defence and NATO troops deployed in our country.
