Culture minister Raluca Turcan meets French counterpart Rima Abdul Malak

Cooperation in the field of culture and public diplomacy are key themes of the Strategic Partnership Roadmap between Romania and France, "further proof of a privileged and extremely close relationship between the two states," the Minister of Culture, Raluca Turcan,wrote on Facebook, after the discussions she had, in Paris, with her French counterpart, Rima Abdul Malak."The discussions I held yesterday, in Paris, with Mrs. Rima Abdul Malak, the French Minister of Culture, are in line with the mutual commitment of presidents Klaus Iohannis and Emmanuel Macron to intensify the cultural partnership between our countries, in the spirit Romania-France cultural season. Cooperation in the field of culture and public diplomacy is one of the reference themes of the Strategic Partnership Roadmap between Romania and France, an additional proof of a privileged and extremely close relationship between the two states," Turcan said.According to Raluca Turcan, during the meeting with the French minister, there were discussions regarding the calendar and necessary steps in organizing a series of joint cultural events in the coming period."I particularly appreciate the openness of our partners in France and the support offered by Mrs. Rima Abdul Malak, the French Minister of Culture, for the smooth running of future cultural projects organized between our countries," Turcan said.
