Parliament: State budget bill for 2024 approved

Joint budget-finance commission continued debates on state budget bill for 2024 on Tuesday. The bill was approved on Tuesday by members of joint budgte-finance commissions in Parliament with 23 votes in favour and 8 against.   “For 2024, total expenses of state social security budget are estimated at 135 billions, both for the pension system and for the insurance system for work accidents and professional diseases. They had in view the gross average salary of 7.567 lei.   Insurance contributions will be 109 billions and subsidies will be 25 billions. The estimated amount for 2024 is 135 billions,”said Simona Bucura Oprescu, the minister of labour and social solidarity.
