GUN Media reports 15% growth in 2023, adds new partner to management team

February 15, 2024

GUN Media, a key player in the Romanian digital marketing field, reports a turnover of 4.5 million lei, an increase of 15% compared to the previous year. This growth is attributed to strengthening relationships with portfolio clients through the launch of an email marketing service and investment in an integrated CRM with social media platforms.   In a year defined by an economic context unfavorable to investments, GUN Media constructively responded to this dynamic through the development of long-term partnerships and performance marketing services. Hence, GUN Media’s portfolio now includes, among others, Cupio.ro, NeaKaisa.ro, TheHome.ro, PrestigeHome.ro, VLAdiLA.ro, and Case-Smart.ro, top brands in the sectors of professional cosmetics, home & deco, sanitary, or smart lighting.   The launch of the email marketing service and the initiative to develop a CRM integrated with Google, Meta, and TikTok platforms are just a few of the key innovations of the past year. They underline GUN Media’s commitment to integrating the latest technologies to meet the ever-changing needs of its clients.   “It was a year with a lot of market pressure. Having a large portfolio of e-commerce businesses, our clients’ results were influenced by retail consumption, and in the first half of the year, there was a strong contraction in consumption. From the second half of the year, most of the portfolio clients recorded growth. For us, the most important thing was to focus towards stable clients with a long-term vision, to whom we could offer performance services with a very high level of support,” says Robert Trandafir, CEO of GUN Media.   Alexandru Curtasu, serving as Head of Performance Marketing at GUN Media, becomes a partner of GUN Media in January 2024, after 5 years of progressing through all the roles in the agency’s Paid Media division. Curtasu has worked directly with about 80 different businesses, managed hundreds of advertising accounts, and last year made a significant contribution to the development of the department and the growth of the team.     During nearly 11 years of activity, GUN Media has collaborated with over 400 brands and ended the year 2023 with a portfolio of 85 active clients. For 2024, GUN Media aims to continue the positive development trend by strengthening relationships with clients with growth potential both in Romania and internationally. Additionally, the team expects an increase in demand for the email marketing service. Another goal of the company is to expand its portfolio with online stores from Romania that wish to operate in other territories, and for this purpose, GUN Media is integrating dedicated SaaS services.
