At the Gala held on January 18, TeraPlast Group’s CFO, Ioana Birta, received the certification on behalf of the company. She emphasized the importance of a well-structured governance, tailored to the business reality, in the successful journey of the Group.

The "Romania Best Managed Companies" program is a valuable initiative for recognizing Romanian entrepreneurial performance, based on an international methodology, with the program running concurrently in over 45 countries around the world.

This edition of the program raised the interest of over 100 companies, out of which 40 reached the main phase, that of the workshops and interviews held alongside mixed teams of experts appointed by Deloitte, the program organizer, and the partners Banca Transilvania, Bucharest Stock Exchange and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. At the end of this stage, the program's independent jury decided which are the companies whose organizational and managerial practices are best aligned with the international Best Managed Companies standard. Therefore, within the second edition of the Best Managed Companies Romania program, 17 companies were certified, including TeraPlast, and 4 companies were recertified.

The four pillars of assessment include strategy, resources and innovation, culture, and engagement, as well as corporate governance and financial aspects of the company.

The uniqueness of this programme lies in its focus on private companies in Romania, acknowledging their overall performance and supporting long-term growth, as it appreciates organizational efforts beyond the financial achievements.

By obtaining this certification, TeraPlast joins a group of companies recognized for their excellence and innovation within the Romanian business sphere.
