Bucharest concentrates 21% of local export value

Bucharest concentrates about 21% of the value of local exports and over 32% of the value of imports made in Romania, the Chamber of Trade and Industry of Bucharest (CCIB) informs.   According to the source, about 25% of Romania's GDP is made in Bucharest. At the same time, the Capital city concentrates about 44% of the companies with foreign capital and about 53% of their subscribed capital. Bucharest also gathers 60% of the country's scientific research activity.   CCIB organized the New Year Business Resolutions reception, in partnership with the consulting company Wise Finance Solution SRL, a member of the Bucharest Chamber and with the support of Romania-Ireland Business Association, Belgian Connection and Romania-India Chamber of Trade and Industry.   “This event is a unique opportunity for professionals in various fields to meet, to exchange ideas and build valuable connections,” said CCIB president Iuliu Stocklosa. According to the source, the meeting brought together CCIB members, members of the three associations,business representatives and strategic partners to celebrate the beginning of a new year full of challenges and opportunities.   “The event was a good oooprtunity for important representatives of the local business to have exchanges of ideas and information. During the event, every interaction could open new horizons and bring new prospects to develop business,” the press release mentions.
