Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luminita Odobescu presented on Tuesday at the reunion of the US ambassadors in the Black Sea region, taking place in Bucharest, Romania’s approach to this region, with focus on its importance for the security of the Euro-Atlantic area and the prosperity of Europe, emphasising interconnectivity and trade.The head of Romanian diplomacy emphasized the deterioration of the security due to the war started by Russia against Ukraine and the necessity to consolidate the allied presence on the Eastern Flank, according to a press release of the MFA sent on Wednesday.At the same time, she mentioned the constant and continuous involvement of Romania in supporting Ukraine, including contribution to facilitating the transit of the Ukrainian agricultural products towards third markets. The event, hosted by the US Embassy and the US Command Europe (EUROM) reunited US high officials accredited in the states in the region.
