Arrears of the general consolidated budget decreased by 14.3% in December 2023

  The arrears of the general consolidated budget decreased by 14.3% in December 2023, as compared to the previous month, at 279.97 million lei, from 326.63 million lei in November, according to the data published on the site of the ministry of finances (MF).Arrears over 90 days decreased by 2.72% from 110.6 million lei to 107.6 million lei, those over 120 days decreased by 32% from 155.9 million lei in November 2023 to 106 million lei in December 2023. Arrears over 360 days increased by 10.3%, from 60.2 million lei to 66.4 million lei.   According to the quoted source, as regards the local budgets, the arrears diminished by 15.6% from 304.86 million lei (in November 2023) at 257.31 million lei (December 2023).Debts over 90 days decreased by 5.14% to 101.5 million lei, those over 120 days decreased by 33.25% to 98.6 million lei, while arrears over 360 days increased by 14% to 57.2 million lei.   In the "State budget and autonomous" chapter, arrears increased from 21.78 million lei in November 2023 to 22.66 million lei in December 2023 (+4%).   Arrears over 90 days increased by 66.6% to 6 million lei, those over 120 days decreased by 9.8% to 7.4 million lei and those over 360 days decreased by 8% to 9.2 million lei.
