Aerostar posted a net profit of 86.7 million lei in the first half of 2026, 87.9% higher than the 46.1 million lei recorded in the same period of 2025, according to the financial report submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.The company's turnover increased by 24.9% to 393 million lei, from 314.6 million lei in the first half of last year.Export sales amounted to 332.2 million lei, compared with 276.4 million lei in the same period of 2025.Gross profit reached 101.9 million lei, up from 53.3 million lei in the first half of last year.Operating profit stood at 84.2 million lei, up from 48 million lei in the first half of 2025, while financial profit amounted to 17.8 million lei, compared with 5.3 million lei in the same period.As of 30 June 2026, Aerostar had 1,909 employees, compared with 1,825 on the same date in 2025.Investment expenditure, financed entirely from the company's own funds, amounted to 5.8 million lei, compared with 6.5 million lei in the first half of 2025.As of 30 June 2026, the company's current liquidity ratio stood at 9.17, compared with 10.35 on the same date last year.Aerostar shares, traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ARS, ended the first half of the year at 12.70 lei, compared with 9.14 lei at the end of the same period in 2025. The company's market capitalisation reached 1.934 billion lei, up from 1.392 billion lei.Aerostar has share capital of RON 48.729 million, divided into 152.277 million shares.
