Aerostar records net profit of almost 59 mln RON in first nine months of 2024

Aviation company Aerostar recorded in the first nine months of 2024 a net profit of 58.814 million RON, slightly down by 3.7% compared to the one obtained in the same period of 2023, of 61.09 million RON, according to the unaudited results sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Friday.The company's revenues amounted to 464.9 million RON, and expenditures to 397.77 million RON. The gross profit was, in the mentioned period, 67.16 million RON.From the turnover of 419.51 million RON achieved in the first nine months of 2024, the company sold products and services on the domestic market for 79.176 million RON, and on the foreign market for 340.334 million RON, equivalent."During the reporting period, Aerostar registered an upward trend of sales on the outlet markets. The share of exports in the turnover during the reporting period is 81%", the report sent to BVB reads.Until the end of September 2024, Aerostar made and put into operation investments worth 22.168 million RON.Aerostar, a company with over 70 years of experience in the aviation and defense industry, is a significant supplier of aerostructures, components, assemblies and hydraulic systems for global manufacturing programs. The equipment, assemblies and parts produced by Aerostar are part of a large number of commercial aircraft: Airbus A320, A321, A330, A350, Boeing B737, B787, B767, Gulfstream G650, Dassault F7X, Bombardier Challenger 600 series and Global 5000/6000.The company provides products and services in Europe, Asia, Africa, USA and Canada. In Europe it provides maintenance services for civil aviation, aviation products (landing gear systems, mechanical parts, assemblies and subassemblies), electronic equipment and ground equipment. In Asia and Africa it provides civil aviation maintenance services and in Canada - aviation products. In Romania, it provides repair services for military aircraft and repair of electronic parts and components for military aircraft, upgrades, integrations and maintenance for military aviation systems, systems and launchers repair services.Aerostar is listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange's Standard category. The main shareholder is IAROM, with 71.49% of the shares.
