Nadlac salami, a traditional Romanian product with a recipe passed down from generation to generation, has entered the registration process in a European quality system, the Ministry of Agriculture announced. “A traditional Romanian product, with a recipe inherited from generation to generation, Nadlac Salami will follow the registration stages within a European quality system. The authentic taste and the preparation process respect ancestral traditions, putting Romania on the map of quality products in Europe!”, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development pointed out. Nadlac salami joins other Romanian products already recognized at European level, including Topoloveni magiun, Sibiu salami, Ibanesti telemeaua or smoked novacul from Tara Barsei. The smoking of traditional Nadlac summer salami, made of pork and beef meat, is done naturally with hardwood sawdust (plum, mulberry or beech).
