The minister of health, Alexandru Rafila, had on Friday a meeting with the Israel ambassador to Romania, David Saranga, where they discussed the fight against the pandemics. The two approached the topic of the highly specialized medical assistance for children where Israel has much expertise, the press release sent by the Ministry of Health informs. The quoted source said that the interest of both parties was expressed for collaboration in the domain of digitisation of the health system and increase of citizens’ access to quality medical services. Recent data regarding the evolution of the pandemics show that the Omicron variant affects children and young people more than the other previous variants.
