Amendments to audiovisual law enacted; information campaigns to combat drug use and trafficking and trafficking in human beings

The interim president, Ilie Bolojan promulgated on Monday the normative act for the completion of the audiovisual law no.504/2002 according to the National Council of Audiovisual (CNA)will organize, through broadcasters, public information campaigns aimed at publicizing the harmful effects of drug use, drug trafficking and human trafficking.The content and development of educational audiovisual broadcasts shall be determined by the CNA after consultation with the bodies involved at national level in preventing and combating drug use and trafficking in drugs and trafficking in human beings, the law stipulates.According to the normative act, the expenses produced by the broadcast of these messages are negotiated by CAN with the broadcasters and paid from the reserve fund of the government, on the  basis of an estimated and invoices issued.
