World star André Rieu is undoubtedly one of the most popular international musicians of the moment. Known as “King of Waltz” from Mexico to Australia, André Rieu holds concerts in front of more than 600,000 every year, exceeding the number of spectators attending the concerts of the international superstars like Bruno Mars, AC/DC or Rihanna. André Rieu comes for the first time at BT ARENA from Cluj-Napoca, on April 5, 2019, starting at 8.00 PM, in a new memorable concert under the 2019 world tour. “Music and waltz are a very important part of my life”, André Rieu says. “If a song touches my soul, it will touch yours too, for sure. This music allows me to bring excitement and joy in people’s hearts, everywhere in the world. Everything is allowed at my concerts: to laugh, to cry, to dance, to sing. Emotions are the secret of my success.” Tickets are available starting from Thursday, November 29, and they can be purchased both online at www.eventim.ro or www.andrerieu.com, and in the EVENTIM partner stores all over the country: , Vodafone, Germanos, Carturesti and Humanitas Bookstores, Carrefour shopping centers and OMV gas stations, at the Iulius Mall ticket office, at prices starting from 200 RON, depending on the seat category. André Rieu’s concerts are like a firework of emotions. With more than 100 concerts every year, André Rieu delivers total entertainment to the audience, with famous romantic songs, filled with many surprises, humor and first-class international soloists. Together with the 60 musicians, members of his Johann Strauss Orchestra, the largest private orchestra in the world, the charismatic Dutch artist performs tours all over the world for more than 30 years. In September, the world tour took the great artist on the great stages of United States and Canada, in October he was in Argentina, in November he performed in Australia, while in December he will conquer the British audience. To manage the transport routes of the huge production between continents, 4 fabulous identical structures have been created, containing 4 sets of costumes, instruments and technical equipment. Over 40 million CDs and DVDs sold, number 1 in the international rankings for 30 times, and 500 platinum discs, are making André Rieu a real “Maestro of the Masses”,  New York Times headlines ecstatically. The videos published on his YouTube account have so far reached one billion views, and more than 3.7 million fans are watching the King of Waltz on Facebook.   This July, André Rieu held his annual fantastic concerts outdoor, in his hometown in the Netherlands, Maastricht. For the first time, for 13 evenings, more than 15,000 fans from over 80 countries attended his extraordinary concerts at Vrijthof. André Rieu has been married for more than 40 years and he and his wife are living in a romantic castle built in 1452 in his hometown, Maastricht, in the Netherlands. They have two sons and five nephews.
