Asirom, first insurer in Romania to use car history in risk assessment

 Asirom Vienna Insurance Group announced on Wednesday the launch of a partnership, unique on the local market, with the international car data company carVertical, through which it will use car history in risk assessment.According to a press release, Asirom thus aims to increase the efficiency of risk assessment processes, contribute to the transparency of the second-hand car market in Romania and offer more accurate insurance solutions, based on the real history of vehicles."carVertical has been a recognized player on the Romanian automotive data market since 2019. The platform offers access to the real history of vehicles, contributing to more informed decisions in the purchase of used cars. The partnership with Asirom extends the use of this data to the insurance area, creating the premises for a safer and fairer ecosystem for all participants," the press release reads.By integrating carVertical's automotive data, Asirom is taking an important step towards a more accurate assessment of vehicle risks. This will allow differentiation between cars with a flawless history and those with hidden risks, providing fairer insurance conditions for responsible customers.Asirom VIG is one of the most important insurance companies on the market, with a tradition in the Romanian insurance industry.
