Austria in Sounds – sounds of contemporary Austria

* Online cultural events on Austria's National Day   On the occasion of the National Day of Austria, the Austrian Embassy and the Austrian Cultural Forum Bucharest propose a selection of online events, “Austria in Sounds – Sounds of Contemporary Austria”, an illustration of the place held by this country on the European cultural stage.   A musical celebration with three exclusive concerts – that of the famous Wiener Sangerknaben (Boys' Choir of Vienna) from  the State Theater of Wels, another of the refined Minetti Quartet, recorded at MuTh, the Vienna Boys' Choir concert hall, and that of Trio KlaVis, a young ensemble within the program New Austrian Sound of Music of the Austrian Foreign Ministry. To that was added the video portrait made by actress Bettina Rossbacher about the great Austrian-Romanian poet of Jewish origin, Rose Auslander, born in Cernauti 130 years ago. The online program of the Austrian Embassy is opened by the speech of Mrs Adelheid Folie, Austria's Ambassador in Romania. The full video message is available as of October 26, 8.00 o'clock on https://bit.ly/AustriaInSounds2021.   This year, the privileged relationship between Austria and Romania is celebrated by an exceptional musical event, offered by the National Chamber Choir “Madrigal- Marin Constantin”. Austria's national hymn in the Madrigal Choir variant was presented on October 26. The Austrian Embassy thanks Madrigal choir for the valuable recording of the Federal Austrian Hymn in the impressive ambiance of Romania's Senate.
