Authentic tastes and Romanian craftsmanship at "Saints Peter and Paul Fair" in courtyard of Ministry of Agriculture

Authentic Romanian tastes and craftsmanship will be available from Thursday to Saturday at the "Saints Peter and Paul Fair" in the courtyard of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR), the fair being organized with the support of the Caprirom Sud Muntenia Agricultural Cooperative."The Saints Peter and Paul Fair" brings together 27 producers from several areas of the country, who will welcome visitors with a varied offer of natural products, made with skill, care and passion. "Through such initiatives, MADR brings closer to consumers local products, obtained with care, respecting inherited recipes that are appreciated by consumers for their authentic taste," a ministry statement shows.At this edition, fair guests will discover traditionally certified products from the dairy and cheese categories, meat preparations, artisanal butchery, as well as fruit and vegetable delicacies - natural juices, jams, preserves - but also fresh or dried fruits and vegetables or products from the mountainous area.Also, you will be able to find bread, cozonacs like grandma's, sugar-free cakes and lavender products, honey, artisanal drinks and local distillates, fish products and various preparations. Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase products recognized at European level for their quality and authenticity, thus contributing to the promotion of Romanian traditions abroad. Among these, the Topoloveni plum Magiun - a product with Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) from Arges County, as well as organic beekeeping products.The atmosphere will be enriched by the presence of two folk craftsmen, who will create wooden objects, opinci and paint icons on site, offering the public a true foray into the spirit of Romanian traditions. Equally, those present at the fair will have the opportunity to interact directly with the producers, learn the story behind each product and support the local economy by consuming healthy and sustainable foods.
