B9 Defence Ministers meeting in Bucharest, regional security, strengthening NATO's deterrence and defence posture, on agenda

The B9 Defence Ministers meeting will take place on Wednesday at the Palace of Parliament, according to an announcement made by the Ministry of National Defense.According to the cited source, the agenda of the meeting will cover the regional security situation in the context of the Russian Federation's war of aggression against Ukraine, the implications of this conflict on Euro-Atlantic security, NATO and EU support for the Black Sea region, as well as measures to strengthen NATO's deterrence and defence posture on the Eastern Flank, in preparation for the upcoming meeting of Defence Ministers in allied format.At the end of the meeting, Romania and Poland's Defence ministers will hold press statements.Launched at the initiative of Romania and Poland, B9 provides a platform for deepening dialogue and cooperation between the participating Allies.
