Bucharest Stock Exchange records increases of over 3% after presidential elections canceled

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) recorded increases of over 3% on the main indices after the Constitutional Court decided on Friday to cancel the entire electoral process of the presidential elections.The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered an appreciation of 3.63%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an advance of 3.62%.The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 3.54%, while the yield benchmark for investment funds, BET-BK, rose 3.69%.On the other hand, the BET-FI index of the SIFs recorded an advance of 2.35%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered an appreciation of 3.51%.The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up by 3.89%.
