Bucharest's COVID-19 rate down to 1.58 cases per thousand population

Bucharest's 14-day COVID-19 rate is 1.58 cases per thousand population on Friday, in a steady decline from the 16.54 peak recorded on October 22, the Public Health Directorate announced.A day ago, the capital city's Covid incidence rate was 1.71. A total of 1,673 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours and 206 deaths have been reported, of which 23 prior to the reference period, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Friday."According to data available at the National Centre for Intervention Coordination and Management (CNCCI) as of December 2, 10:00, within the past 24 hours, 1,673 cases of people having tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 were recorded. Also, 206 deaths were reported, including 23 prior to the reference period," informs GCS.
