By 2025, evomag expects 20% more business

February 27, 2025

Sales of the online shop evomag reached 50 million euro in 2024 and for 2025 the company estimates a plus of 20% of the business. The online shop announces investments of 500,000 euro to make operations more efficient, to extend to international marketplaces and to develop services.   "evomag is maintaining the pace of investment and is announcing investments of 500,000 euros this year as part of its development strategy. The funds will be directed towards expanding its presence on international marketplaces, automating logistical processes, developing existing services and introducing a new service targeting mobile phone repairs," the company announces.   evomag will place particular emphasis this year on the development of the corporate segment, strengthening the department dedicated to sales to companies and public institutions.   "2025 is the year of rationalisation for evomag. We are focusing on optimising logistics operations by automating warehouse processes and increasing storage capacity. These measures will enable us to significantly improve the speed and reliability of deliveries, thereby strengthening the trust of our customers. At the same time, our international expansion through marketplaces offers us opportunities for growth in new markets", says Mihai Patrascu, CEO of evomag.   In addition, the company will continue to develop its value-added services area, such as air-conditioning fitting, household appliances, TVs, computer assembly and maintenance, and GSM services, including mobile phone repairs.   A strategic objective for 2025 is drawing financial partners who will support the plans for expansion and to contribute to reaching the turnover of 100 million euro in the years to come.   For evomag, 2024 meant an increase in turnover of around 20% compared to 2023, to around €50 million, supported by high demand for products in the core categories. In addition, services offered by the company, such as air conditioning fitting, computer assembly and mobile phone repairs, doubled in volume and value.   For 2025, evomag estimates a plus of 20% of the business, an acceleration of the increase of online trade, with a general advance of the market of approximately 10-15% while the offline retail will record a more modest increase.   evomag is one of the biggest companies in the electronic commerce industry in Romania. The online shop sells tens of thousands of products in the fields of IT&C, home appliances, sports&fitness( including scooters and accessories for scooters) and home and garden, and five years ago it opened its first service for electric scooters, becoming the first online store in Romania to offer such a service.
