Albania can learn from Romania's experience in terms of the accession process, but especially of the post-accession process, which has shown that bureaucracy and corruption are the biggest obstacles in attracting European funds, said Mihai Daraban, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR), on Monday, after a meeting with the new ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Romania, Enkeleda Merkuri, aimed at boosting bilateral economic relations."The diplomatic relationship between Romania and Albania goes back more than 110 years old, with the national anthem of Albania whose music is composed by Ciprian Porumbescu bearing witness of the friendship between the two countries. There are joint projects in which the business communities of the two countries can be involved, energy being an area of strategic importance for Albania," said the ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Romania, Enkeleda Merkuri.
