Charles, Prince of Wales on visit to Romania; meetings with Klaus Iohannis, Her Majesty Margareta

  Prince Charles will pay a visit to Romania, and on Wednesday the high representative of the British Crown will be received by President Klaus Iohannis, at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, and by the Crown Custodian, Her Majesty Margareta, at Elisabeta Palace. The reception at Cotroceni Palace is scheduled for 2.45 pm.Her Majesty Margareta, Crown Custodian, and His Royal Highness Prince Consort will welcome His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, who is visiting Romania, at Elisabeta Palace. Also on Wednesday, His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales will visit the Ukrainian refugee center organized at Romexpo, to see the excellent response of the Romanian authorities to the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis of recent months. His Royal Highness will be accompanied by Her Majesty Margareta, the Romanian Crown Custodian.The Prince of Wales visited Elisabeta Palace in 2011, 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Prince of Wales has been present in Romania since 1998, almost every year, and in the UK, the Royal Family of Romania participates annually in public or official visits.
