It will be the biggest and most spectacular event of that kind in Romania, according to Creart. Admission will be free. The over 130 Christmas huts will gather local manufacturers and producers from all over Romania. Visitors will be invited to discover unique objects, decorations, leather accessories and ceramics. The event will include two areas devoted to holiday music: the traditional and urban areas. In the traditional area, people can enjoy carols, folk customs , children choirs and groups, ensembles from all over the country, national minorities and communities, well known artists and groups. A concert and festive events program performed by Romanian artists will take place every weekend in the traditional area of the fair, starting 7.00 p.m. In the urban area, there will be theme parties, on best known international winter songs, mixed by a DJ.The urban area will be active Monday through Thursday. Santa's House, with an area of 100 sq.m. will be open to all visitors, for 28 days, in the morning and afternoon. As of December 14, 5.00 p.m. Santa will arrive at Bucharest Christmas Fair to meet all those who expect to see him. For 11 days, Santa will be present to listen to children's wishes and tell them Christmas stories, next to his elves. The fair stage will host on weekend mornings plays for young children. The Christmas Fair will be open Monday through Friday between 12.00 noon to 10.00 p.m., Christmas Day included, and on Saturdays and Sundays between 10.00 a.m. and 10.00 p.m.
