Company deregistrations increase by 14.14% in first seven months of 2023

The number of deregistered companies increased by 14.14%, in the first seven months of 2023, up to 22,193, compared to 19,443 in the same period of 2022, according to the data centralized by the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC).The field of activity that recorded the most dissolutions of companies, in the first seven months of this year, is wholesale and retail trade, the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, where 6,160 removals were registered at the national level. Compared to the same period of the previous year, dissolutions in this sector increased by 2.7%.According to the quoted source, professional, scientific and technical activities, construction, as well as the manufacturing industry are other areas of activity where a large number of company deregistrations were recorded, namely 2,189 (+30.30%), 2,074 (+13.71 %), respectively 1,933 (+15.2%).
