The Competition Council has authorised the transaction whereby Specialized Services Holdings S.A. intends to acquire Engie Building Solutions S.R.L. Specialized Services Holdings S.A. carries out activities typical of a holding company and is the parent company of several companies known collectively as the BMF Group. The BMF Group operates primarily in the field of property management and administration services. Engie Building Solutions S.R.L., a subsidiary of the ENGIE Group, provides property management and administration services, as well as services relating to EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contracts for energy efficiency and decarbonisation in industrial, office and commercial buildings. Following its analysis, the Competition Council found that this transaction does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part thereof, and that there are no serious doubts as to its compatibility with a normal competitive environment. The decision will be published on the national competition authority’s website, once confidential information has been redacted.
