Competition for fir trees decoration between 22nd November and 19th December at the Village Museum

Over 20 fir trees are waiting at the National Museum of Village ‘ Dimitrie Gusti’ to be decorated with decorations brought by the visitors in a competition organized between 22nd November and 19th December, during Winter Celebrations.The competitors will attach to the fir tree a label with the name of the family and will have check-in from the museum with the picture of the fir tree which they are going to post on the social media.No decorations or accessories to be plugged in or with open fire are allowed.The project is part of the campaign ‘ We Open the Book of Good Deeds’ and aims at making children and young people come to the museum, to meet Saint Nicholas (5th December) and Santa Claus (19th December) to donate clothes and toys for the children in the deprived environment.
