COSMO PHARM Accelerates Growth: Sales Up 42% in 2025, Digitalization Plans for 2026

February 11, 2026

Growth was driven by expanded distribution and a stronger retail footprint, with the company partnering with over 70% of Romania’s largest pharmacy chains.  Exports increased by around 25%, with a focus on the Middle East, while the women’s health supplements segment generated 30% of total company sales.  For 2026, the company plans investments in AI and digitalization, as well as a warehouse expansion, in response to higher demand and increased volumes.    COSMO PHARM, one of Romania’s longest-established and most significant dietary supplement producers, reported a 42% increase in sales in 2025 compared to 2024. The result continues the company’s accelerated growth trend in recent years and further strengthens its position on both the local and international markets.    This performance was supported by a mix of strategic factors: wider retail coverage, export growth, strong momentum in specific supplement categories, and the continued development of online channels.    Growth in 2025 also reflects the company’s retail expansion through the development of its nationwide partner network. At the present moment, COSMO PHARM collaborates with over 70% of the largest pharmacy chains in Romania, alongside independent pharmacies.    At the same time, exports continued to gain traction, increasing by 25% as the company expanded its international presence through partnerships and new markets. The focus has been on the Middle East - particularly the United Arab Emirate - as well as other strategic regions, in line with COSMO PHARM’s internationalization strategy.    Another important driver in 2025 was new product development. The COSMO PHARM portfolio has been aligned with rising demand for women’s health solutions - a segment that became the most dynamic in 2025 and generated 30% of the company’s sales. The manufacturer currently offers a portfolio of over 200 dietary supplements, including 70 registered trademarks, spanning areas such as longevity, neurocerebral health, immunity, detoxification, hormonal balance, and women’s health.    The online channel also made a meaningful contribution to 2025 growth. The company’s own e-commerce store expanded its product range by 200%, alongside increases in both traffic and average basket value. This evolution confirms consumers’ growing preference for digital purchases as well as for premium supplements featuring advanced formulas and proven effectiveness.    “2025 was a year of accelerated progress for COSMO PHARM, in which investments in our portfolio, international expansion, and the strengthening of sales channels delivered solid results. Sales growth confirms that people are increasingly interested in effective, safe health solutions tailored to modern lifestyles, and we remain focused on meeting these expectations through innovation and quality,” said Alina Birau, Commercial Director, COSMO PHARM.    Strategic directions for 2026    In 2026, COSMO PHARM aims to maintain this pace by investing in AI and digitalization, with plans to implement applications and solutions designed to improve the consumer experience and strengthen engagement with younger audiences.    In addition, the company is considering expanding its storage capacity to keep up with increasing demand and higher volumes of finished products, supported by portfolio diversification and entry into new markets.    Through these initiatives, COSMO PHARM continues to build a sustainable growth strategy centered on innovation, operational efficiency, and stronger consumer proximity—within a dietary supplements market that is evolving at a rapid pace.
