Courier Services in the Digital Age: Cargus Mobile App Exceeds 1.5 Million Downloads

Launched in 2021, the Cargus Mobile App consolidates the company's digital transformation direction by offering users a complete experience and advanced functionalities for parcel management. Cargus Mobile allows users to send parcels, track their route, direct delivery to the nearest Cargus SHIP & GO point, or return purchased parcels easily and quickly.   Cargus announces that the Cargus Mobile App has exceeded the threshold of 1,5 million downloads since its launch, making it one of the most accessed apps in Romania. The Cargus Mobile App is an essential pillar of the company's digital transformation strategy, offering users advanced features and an integrated experience for efficient shipment management. Available for iOS, Android, and Harmony OS operating systems, the Cargus Mobile App is used at least once by most people who download it. The app's popularity is closely linked to the growth of e-Commerce volumes, especially during peak periods. For example, in April, the period preceding the Easter holidays, the app recorded a record of over 85,000 downloads.The App Key Features Cargus App allows users to track the status of parcels, direct them to the nearest point in the network of over 2,000 Cargus SHIP & GO locations, pay for them before or at the time of pickup, and easily return purchased parcels.   Additionally, the Cargus Mobile App allows users to save their cards, thus facilitating a simpler payment process when collecting or picking up parcels from fixed points.The app proves to be a useful tool for users who occasionally send parcels, simplifying the shipping process and eliminating the need for a physical AWB. Investments and Improvements This year, Cargus has made significant investments in the Cargus Mobile App, focusing on improving functionality, design, and user experience. These investments reflect the company's commitment to offering innovative digital solutions and responding to the constantly changing needs of users.
