Credit Europe Bank is now officially Nexent Bank

August 12, 2025

As of July 11, 2025, Credit Europe Bank continues its evolution under a new name: Nexent Bank. This transition represents more than a visual identity change, it’s the reaffirmation of a promise: to build a modern, transparent, and customer-centered banking experience.   The new identity reflects the values that define the bank – dynamism, diversity, and expertise – and responds to the growing demand for digital, intuitive, and personalized banking services. Under the slogan “The bank designed around you.”, Nexent Bank carries forward the trusted tradition of Credit Europe Bank, with an even greater focus on technology, flexibility, and solutions designed around the customer.   “This evolution from Credit Europe Bank to Nexent Bank is a natural and strategic step forward. We’re staying true to our roots, while expressing our ambition more clearly: to be an agile bank with a modern brand expression, a digital mindset, and a strong customer focus. We thank all our customers for their continued trust and look forward to serving them as Nexent Bank, united under one name across all markets,” said Senol Aloglu, CEO of Nexent Bank.   What does Nexent mean? Our brand originates from the fusion of technology and finance, symbolizing a modern institution built to connect people and possibilities in a fast-evolving digital world: -Nex(t) shows progress, transformation and future readiness -X symbolizes connection and exchange -ent stands for essence, stability and presence   Together, they define a bank with future oriented thinking, building trust through clarity, around people “The bank designed around you.”   All existing contracts, accounts, cards, products, and services remain valid and fully functional, with no disruption. No action is required from customers or partners. The only visible change will be the new brand identity – clearer, more relevant, and more aligned with customer expectations.   “Nexent Bank builds on the strong foundation of Credit Europe Bank, while bringing more clarity and consistency to everything we do. We remain dedicated to the same core values – dynamism, diversity, and expertise, but we express them with modern tools, with transparency, and real care towards every client. We are ready for the future and determined to grow together, every day. Nexent Bank is our answer to the profound change of the way people interact with a bank: secure, through simple, technology, and closeness, based on respect and trust,” said Yakup Çil, Country Manager Romania.   Present today in important European markets, Nexent Bank represents the emergence of a unified international identity – a new name and a new visual identity that reflects our common values in all the regions where the bank is present. This new brand image reinforces and expresses with more clarity the bank’s direction: a personal and reliable financial institution with tailored digital solutions designed for today’s and tomorrow’s generations.
