President Nicusor Dan and the AUR leader, George Simion are at the top as regards the trust of the Romanians – 38%, shows the most recent survey made at national level bly the CURS – Centre for Urban and Regional Sociology Centre.At the top of Romanians’ trust are the Army/the firefighters, the Church, the European Union, the Police and the private environment.When asked 'How much do you trust the following political personalities', 38% of the interviewees trust Nicusor Dan and George Simion 'very much/very much', 32% trust Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, 26% trust Sorin Grindeanu, 24% trust Kelemen Hunor, 22% trust Dominic Fritz, 19% trust Diana Sosoaca, and 16% trust Anamaria Gavrila. When asked the same question, 57% trust George Simion 'very little/little', 59% trust President Nicusor Dan, 62% trust Ilie Bolojan, 64% trust Sorin Grindeanu, 65% trust Kelemen Hunor, 53% trust Dominic Fritz, 76% trust Diana Sosoaca and 59% trust Ana-Maria Gavrila. To the question 'What do you think about the following institutions', 81% have 'very good/good' opinion about the army/fire brigade, 74% about the Church, 59% about the European Union, 59% about the Police, 54% - the private sector, 53% - the United Nations, 48% - the Presidency, 41% - television, 38% - the judiciary, 36% - the written and online press, 34% - trade unions, 33% - the Government, 29% - the intelligence services, 26% - the Parliament, 24% - the National Audiovisual Council, 24% - the Constitutional Court, 23% - the Permanent Electoral Authority. According to the same survey, 60% of the interviewees consider that Romania in the European Union has much to win, while 31% consider that they have to lose, and 9% do not know or do not answer.When asked 'Are you agreeing with Romania's exit from the EU?', 68% of the subjects say that 'rather do not', 15% say that 'rather yes', and 17% do not know or do not answer. The sampling universe is the resident adult population in Romania, and the sample volume - 1,067 respondents, aged 18 and over. Sample type: probabilist, multistadial, layered. The maximum error margin across the sample is plus/minus 3% at a 95% confidence level. Data collection method: CATI (telephone interviews). The validation of the sample was based on the latest official statistics data. The data are weighted by the age structure of the electorate. The realization period was July 4 - July 10, 2025.
