The Minister of National Defense, Ionut Mosteanu, met on Thursday, at the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Bucharest, Willemijn van Haaften, in which context they discussed, among other things, the security situation in the Black Sea and the initiative regarding the creation of the "Drone Wall".According to a press release from the Ministry of National Defense, the discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of defense, with an emphasis on the development of industrial partnerships, the security situation in the Black Sea and the initiative regarding the creation of the "Drone Wall", a project intended to contribute to increasing surveillance and defense capabilities on the Eastern Flank.In the current security context, the two officials reconfirmed their firm support for Ukraine in the face of the illegal aggression of the Russian Federation.
